La recherche française en systèmes d'information, comparaison avec les États-Unis

Jean-Louis PEAUCELLE

Abstract

The topics, the methods characterize the search undertaken in France and to the United States. The articles published during 5 years in French review SIM are compared with the articles of the American reviews. The analysis is supplemented by the study of the authors and the selection made in the reviews. Thus appear the internal forces of the academic world to direct search. The link with the professionals of the information systems is also evocated. The author finishes by giving his personal vision of the evolution of the field of search in information systems.
