Diffusion des nouveaux outils de communication dans les entreprises de taille moyenne : une comparaison France/Italie

Abstract


The paper deals with the diffusion of new communication tools in middle size companies. A survey of about 200 firms, in France and Italy, shows the diffusion of such new tools as private and public Email, EDI, Teleservices and Internet. The traditional threshold effects in the adoption of ICT's seem to disappear, except for the most " mature " tool, private Email. Industry-specific adoption patterns are significant in most cases, and they show the impact of National Production and Innovation Systems.
