Les Ateliers de Génie Logiciel face aux enjeux de l'ingénierie simultanée

Christian VARINARD

While nowadays, software development is done by developers working in the same time and not in a sequential manner like often before, it is essentially possible to find on the market, products designed for a single developer or for several developers working independently. From the results of a study concerning the network versions of eleven CASE tools, this paper shows that the situation is just evolving and that vendors are now proposing many CASE tools which facilitate the work of the software development team in permitting not only an implicit communication through the developing product but also an explicit communication about the work by the use of integrated Groupware tools.
