L'intégration par un projet de groupware : le cas de la Banque centrale du Portugal



Information, and not money, is the raw material of any bank. The globalisation and the advent of Web based information systems showed how inefficient paper-based processes are being increasingly envisaged as liabilities rather than assets. At the Central Bank of Portugal top management decided to transform the way information is processed and knowledge is shared throughout the introduction of a groupware-based system. This paper discusses this choice as well as the main technical and organisational problems arisen during both development and implementation phases.
