Abstract

The purpose of this research is to present some results on the comparison between two information system analysis methods (MERISE and OMT) concerning their learning and operating aspect. The results of this study show that oriented-object analysis method have not always and automatically better efficiency than other methods about learning and use in a real project. On these points, these results are in opposition with what is currently written. A discussion has to be opened on the necessary conditions for the effective use of these methods in the firms.
