Abstract

This press release presents the first results of a piece of research. The inductive approach advocated by the Grounded Theory is applied to the adoption of e-learning methods as they appear in the experience gained. According to companies the adoption decision is more or less forced, or free. It is largely dependent on coherence between the technological environment, the quality of the information system and the training practises used by the companies. The advantage that e-learning can bring is as much linked to the internal resources of the organisations as to the managerial desires of those in charge.
