Knowledge integration is considered as a key factor for operational performance in the case of new product development. In order to support an increase geographic distance between actors on the new product development process, firms implement communication tools and especially Information Technologies to support shared knowledge. How do Information Technologies participate to knowledge sharing? Few researches have studied the rooted mechanisms to couple information technologies and new product development process, which remains mainly unknown. Thanks to a longitudinal case study, we highlight the reduction of errors of knowledge sharing between actors on the new product development process thanks to PLM tool. We underline the improvement of integration of some knowledge on the product development thanks to PLM tool and the reduction of glitches. How to Cite
