Une méthode d’aide à l’identification des connaissances cruciales pour l’entreprise

This paper deals with the issue of identifying and evaluating knowledge that needs to be capitalized and that we call "crucial knowledge". We propose a novel method based on a multi-criteria decision support approach in order to identify and evaluate crucial knowledge. We follow both a top-down and a bottom-up approach. This method consists on two phases: The first one aims at learning and the second is for classification of detected new knowledge that might be crucial. Using this method allows to take into account the preferences of decision makers which can be different or even contradictory while exploiting and managing their multiple point of views to identify crucial knowledge. Concrete experiments have been conducted using this method during an industrial process maintained by a car company. Results show that this method is profound enough to be able to evaluate knowledge to be preserved and that crucial knowledge reduce substantially the capitalization cost since they reduce the number of knowledge to process.
