Résumé

Des similitudes sont généralement établies en matière de comportement à l'égard du e-commerce entre les pays ayant des cultures similaires. A travers une étude des comportements en matière de e-commerce, menée à la fois auprès de particuliers et de professionnels, cet article montre que des différences importantes existent entre de tels pays. Cette étude met en évidence des différences statistiquement significatives sur la question du canal le plus adapté pour trouver l'information sur un produit, pour trouver un fournisseur et pour accomplir un achat.

Frank Goethals holds a Ph.D. in Applied Economics from the K.U.Leuven in Belgium. He is currently Assistant Professor of MIS at the IESEG School of Management in Lille, France.  His research focuses on B2B and B2C e-business. Frank has published in numerous journals including Data and Knowledge Engineering, IEEE Software and Information Systems Frontiers.

Aurélie LECLERCQ, School of Management de Lille, IESEG

Aurélie Leclercq obtained her Ph.D. in Management from Paris-Dauphine University in 2008 and is Assistant Professor at the IESEG School of Management in Lille, France. She has presented her research at ICIS, ECIS, AMCIS, AIM and has published in journals such as The Database for Advances in Information Systems and Systèmes d’Information et Management. Her current research interests include change management, IT adoption, and the social effects of IS in organizational contexts.

Andrea CARUGATI, School of Business de Århus

Andrea Carugati holds a Ph.D. from the Technical University of Denmark (Lyngby). He is Associate Professor at Aarhus School of Business (Aarhus, Denmark) and IESEG School of Management (Lille, France). His research focuses on the behaviors caused by technology and the alternative, deviating uses of technology in organizations. His work has been published in the European Journal of Information Systems, Database for Advances in Information Systems, ICIS and ECIS.
