Abstract

The fit between the choice and management of information systems and the business strategy of companies is a fundamental concern for managers and researchers. This research analyzes the interaction between two corporate actors of the company, that is the chief executive officer and the chief information officer, and the impact of this interaction on the organizational performance. The results of this study carried out with leaders of 223 companies indicate that the fit between the choice and management of the information systems and strategic behaviors of prospecting and analysis has a positive impact on the organizational performance.
