Gestion individuelle et collective du temps : comparaison entre situation manuelle et situation informatisée

Abstract

In a different perspective, the object of this article is to examine, in function of the professional experience and in the two the individual and collective dimensions, the consequences of computerization on the operators' work situation, mainly the management of multiple tasks. These latter face a complex situation of work burden, which is characterized by a multitude of tasks of various natures and diverse complexity that the operators haven't any idea about. As a result they have to run, not only in different settings but also in different temporal environments, the whole process composed of discontinued and independent events. Therefore, this would create interfering situations, which are a source of trouble in the progress of work. In fact, to compensate all these tasks, the operator should put many strategies of temporal control during the achievement of each task: they give priority to the demands according to their importance and urgency. Furthermore, they control the temporality of their activities by reducing the duration of communications or decreasing the group of cooperation and the synchronization of their collective actions. Consequently, the knowledge of the regulations' strategies is a preconditioned necessity of the measures of conception and the amelioration of the situation.
