De l’intégration interne du système d’information à l’intégration du système d’information de la chaîne logistique

Résumé

L’objectif de cet article est de vérifier s’il existe une relation entre l’intégration des SI en interne et en externe. L’analyse se base sur la littérature liant intégration interne et externe et notamment sur le schéma proposé par Venkatraman présentant les phases d’évolution de l’entreprise. A partir de l’enquête COI-TIC, des indicateurs synthétiques de l’intégration intrafonctionnelle des SI et de l’intégration des SI de la chaîne logistique sont construits. Leurs facteurs explicatifs sont analysés sur un échantillon de 9721 entreprises. Les résultats montrent sur ce large échantillon que l'intégration intrafonctionnelle vient accroître l'intégration du SI de la supply chain. Parmi les technologies utilisées en interne, les ERP ont la plus grande influence sur l’intégration intrafonctionnelle et constituent le meilleur prédicteur de l’intégration du SI de la chaîne logistique. Les secteurs d’activité offrent néanmoins des écarts importants entre l’intégration intrafonctionnelle et l’intégration externe des SI.

François-Charles WOLFF est professeur en Sciences Economiques à l'Université de Nantes où il dirige le Laboratoire d'Economie et de Management de Nantes Atlantique. Il est également chercheur associé à l'Institut National des Etudes Démographiques. Il a écrit, seul ou en collaboration, deux ouvrages et plus de 80 articles dans des revues à comité de lecture nationales et internationales dans des champs variés couvrant notamment l’économie de la famille, l’éducation, les migrations, la santé, l’économie du travail, le transport ou bien encore l’économie maritime.

François de Corbière, Ecole des Mines de Nantes LEMNA

François de CORBIERE est maître de conférences en sciences de Gestion à l’Ecole des Mines de Nantes. Membre du LEMNA, ses recherches portent principalement sur les systèmes d’information interorganisationnels. Il travaille plus particulièrement sur les concepts d’intégration et de synchronisation à travers l’analyse de la coordination des échanges et de ses effets, tant sur les transformations organisationnelles que sur la qualité des données.
