Symbolique et stratégies de déploiement des Technologies de l’Information

Résumé

Il existe tant de manières de « faire symbole » pour une TI qu’il est compliqué pour un manager d’en comprendre et d’en maîtriser toutes les dimensions. Comment prendre en compte cette dimension symbolique lors de leur déploiement ? À partir de la littérature, nous distinguons tout d’abord trois significations symboliques types associées à la TI : la TI comme Solution ; la TI comme Utopie ; et la TI comme Menace. Ensuite, nous proposons une description détaillée de ces trois significations symboliques, et les associons à des stratégies de déploiement. Cela permet enfin de proposer une grille descriptive, mobilisable par les managers, pour gérer la dimension symbolique lors du déploiement d’une TI.
